Thelma’s Handmade Dog Food

I’ve been cooking for my dogs for years and wanted to share my basic recipe that I prepare for my pack. Follow it exactly the first time and then use it as your inspiration the next time.

If you make a small batch and you can use it within 3–4 days, refrigerate immediately. Or, try what I do. Make a double or triple batch and freeze it in small glass jars. These can be easily thawed in a bowl of cold water and provides you with an “instant” meal topper that you can be proud of.

Give these recipes a try or use them for inspiration to treat your dog to real food as often as you can. Just remember that dogs can’t have onions of any kind.
